The Exchange Newsletter Update                                         Week of July 6

DNA are the molecules in our body that provide the information to make our bodies function properly.  DNA encodes a specific set of detailed plans that act like a blueprint for each individual cell in our bodies.  DNA is the explicit make-up of who we are.  We get our body structure, looks, hair color, eye color, hearing, teeth, size and physical capabilities from our DNA.  

In next few weeks leading up to Sept 14th, we will be examining the DNA of The Exchange.  Who are we as a body of believers in Christ? What is the theological blueprint that encodes how we operate and look like as a church body.  I think this will be a very, very exciting study.  Hope to see each of you this Sunday.

   Summerfest At Saratoga 08′

The place to be on July 26th.  Join us for the craziest block party & concert at Kay Granger Elementary.  We will have all kinds of games, face painting, snow cones, cotton candy, pop corn, hot dogs, prizes, and also a wii system.

When The Exchange plans an event, we value the purpose and target.  There are somethings that we are needing from each of YOU to helps us in implementing this event.  Below are some KEY STEPS that we need each of you to pray about being a part of.  If there is a particular area in which you desire to be a part in, please email the point person that is in charge of that area.  We also have others in each area that we can direct you to since each is so big.  Summerfest is a major event that we seek to build a bridge to our community to let them know who we are and what we are about.

This area is about hospitality, food, drinks, behind the scenes, greeters, registration, prizes, and much more.  

Games:  Dorothy Sanders/dorothyasanders@gmail.com
This area is about helping with games and supervision.  Does not require to plan games, just assisting them.  

Sound:  Craig Jackson/cj2audio@gmail.com
This area is about helping out in unloading and loading up sound/lighting gear and assisting in the concert heavily.  

Logistics:  Jamie Blanco/jaimeblanco56@hotmail.com
This area is about whatever it takes.  There are so many areas behind the scenes that we need help in.  Such as generators, water hoses, power sprayers, set-up, and much more.  We have several areas that we need people just to be available.
